About Patch Gazette
Patch Gazette launched in 2026 as an independent publication for CISOs and IT managers. Its coverage is organised into 6 sections: Vulnerabilities, Tech News, Cloud Security, Cyber Attacks, Data Breaches, Malware & Ransomware.
“Your daily threat briefing” is the idea behind the site: report what a primary source has confirmed, say what is still unknown, and tell readers what they can do.
Where our reporting comes from
The newsroom follows more than 50 sources, and the fastest of them are checked every 45 seconds. They include government advisories such as the CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog, the National Vulnerability Database, the CVE Program, vendor security bulletins and first-hand research. When we rely on another outlet's reporting, we name it and link to it.
How stories are produced
Articles are prepared with AI-assisted drafting and automated monitoring of official sources. Each draft is checked against its sources, and unsupported numbers, quotes or claims are rejected before publication. The sources are listed under every article, with the publish and update times.
Guides
Alongside the news, Patch Gazette publishes 60 reference guides. The guides explain how attacks and defences work, carry no invented statistics, and are reviewed when the facts change.
Corrections and contact
Corrections are made in the article and marked with the update time; see corrections and the editorial policy. To send a tip or report an error, write to newsroom@patchgazette.com.
